#askneil , so I'm revisiting my take on "the slow challenge" from last year. So my goal is obviously someday to hold pressure for a sec or two on an obstacle. Short term is really feeling for traction, getting a better feel for body position, clutch control, and balance. As the front starts to fall my default reaction is to push into the pegs more to try and get more traction as I release the clutch some more to slow the front end drop. As I do this I end up standing in a position that seems less than optimal, but do seem to get some traction, though less than optimal and end up with my upper body over the bars where I don't think it should be. I'm feeling like the answer would be to keep my knees bent, but firm, and pull pull more with my arms while "falling" back with the body a bit more. May be a horrible description. Anyway any posture pointers would be great when you get a chance. No rush. I'll keep playing as time permits and maybe something will click naturally.
