A quick #askneil. (A quick ask, we all know it may not be a quick answer ;-) ) Hopping the rear to tighten a turn when you run out of room. When I do this mid-turn I have to be super careful to straighten the bars up and stand the bike vertical before I try to hop, or the rear heads the wrong direction, which is the more common result. This means I travel a short distance in a straight line, which obviously makes the room situation worse, usually disasterously. Is that just the way it is, or is there a bit of extra technique to keep in mind for hopping the rear eg. left during a tight right turn?
