Hey Neil, do you think it's important to make sure you have the right rear shock spring for your weight? With 18mm of static sag, the rider sag with me on the bike is 93mm which seems too much. Opinion seems to be that rider sag should be 1/3 or max 1/2 of full travel (165mm). So I've cranked the preload up a fair bit till there's very little (maybe 5-8mm) static and about 82mm rider sag. It makes me think maybe I should get a slightly stronger shock spring. If you ask at the trials club they look at you like you're nuts and say "forget about it mate, just ride the bike as-is!". Whereas enduro guys are very fastidious about getting the spring preloads just right. Does it matter?? Thanks!
