#askneil As a relatively low hour rider (compared to the likes of Neil or some of the crusty old riders who've been at it for decades) I find that I can build a skill or technique, but usually at the expense of another one. Grrr. I worked hard on punch and my ride suffered, I've been working on static ride and my punch and double steps have suffered. So it goes on. With memory recall there are specific techniques to move memories from short term to long term memory - recall it at fairly specific & increasing intervals. I'm wondering if you know of any similar techniques to help cement movement patterns? I fully expect I'm grasping at straws here, but you never know. There's a reason they say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at an activity!
