Setting up the Clutch Engagement Point @Caroline Kent asked me about clutch set up in a message and this is an overview. What I like as a starting point, is this. You can for sure adjust to your wants and needs. MAJOR POINTS These may not make sense till you watch the video. The angle is referring to the second knuckle of your clutch finger - Finger Slightly closer to the bars than vertical/90° = Rear Wheel Fully disengaged from the engine - Finger at vertical/90° = there is drag and engine is pushing the bike. - Finger at 45° from vertical = Rear wheel fully engaged to engine. - The throw of your finger is the set length you must adjust to. - If you have smaller hands you will need to sacrifice leverage to get the best throw length for your hand - I like to aim for the most leverage you can comfortably get. - Higher level riders will shorten the throw to get a faster clutch, if thats you set this at the vertical/90° point. - Don't have the engagement point at the knuckles
