FEEDBACK for @MarkDonnelly Hey Mark! looking forward to seeing you on the Hard Enduro course! Jason said you put the effort into your riding! Any way here is the feedback on your RSG and Ride Technique. Sorry I may have called you Mike once or twice 🤣. Now this is important, don't try and do too much at once to correct things. I'll let the video outline the details but the major points are below and the steps to work on. Major Points - Your clutch use looks really good in this clip! Thats a Gold Star 🤣 - There is an ingrained lift and carry action, and we will want to change your thinking from "getting over" and obstacle to "riding up" the obstacle. - Acceleration is not enough and the GO moment is a long way from the obstacle. This is partly getting the bike to Rev cleanly, partly the GO moment being too far away and a lack of leverage all in one. - Lack of leverage is mostly due to just dropping too deeply downwards. Steps to work on; (Work on these one at a time, don't do all together!) 1. Get the bike revving clean - May only need a good Rev to clear it out, but also make sure you are not running more than 80:1 (I would run 100:1), make sure the air filter is not over oiled, and then it may be running a bit rich. 2. Don't Drop so deep into the squat - Then try to keep your back straighter - That will allow you to pull on the bars as you stand and not let the bike move forward and away, losing leverage. 3. Take your GO moment closer. On this log about the wheel radius is spot on (that is not a fixed rule) 4. Lastly - Think riding up, not over the obstacle. Hope this makes Mark let me know if you have any questions!
