Often riders confuse power and torque. Torque is the ability to do the "work" Power is how fast the work can be done. If you only ride on the throttle you are bound to output as per your engine's dyno readings. You are bound to power and torque at the RPM you are doing. When you develop clutch control you unlock the full potential of your engine. The throttle position and RPM define the maximum torque and power available. The clutch then delivers that torque and the speed of the clutch release essentially controls the power. If you develop your clutch control you can then exploit far more of your bike's capability, almost regardless of capacity.
