In Trials tyre pressure has a huge effect on your riding. Lower pressure gives you a larger contact patch on the ground. BUT If you go too low for your type of riding the rim will roll too much over the contact patch. This gives you a vague feeling on the bike, and it can be difficult to maintain a line, especially off-camber. Too hard and the footprint is reduced and the wheel will tend to skate and bounce. When you set your pressures it's best to have a bit of a warm-up ride before you set the final pressure. The temperature will significantly change the tyre pressure. Better yet check it periodically throughout the day.
