FEEDBACK for @Svobodna01 - Question 3 How the select gears. Here I go through some of the characteristics of taller and lower gears. To give you an understanding of how we can use them. If you know the characteristics it will help you choose. I also highly recommend you practicing and repeating lines in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears. Then you will get a feel for each gear. Try a wide range of things and try them in the range of gears. Even go to 4th if you can do it. There is a few more things I could go on about but that is the most important aspects. If you have any other questions let me know! MAJOR POINTS Lower Gears - Less ground speed = more time to respond as a rider - Greater response = More torque or less "lag" - Harder to stall = bike does the work easier, but slower - Reach power decay faster Taller Gears - More ground speed = Less time to respond as a rider - Less Response = More traction / More "lag" - Easier to stall = Requires better clutch work - Longer time to reach power decay
