FEEDBACK @Wes More Lift Wes your riding is looking good, this is quite controlled, especially since you are cutting the power to land on the sump. For you to get more lift, it is not a matter of really improving technique, I believe it is more about taking the technique further. More RPM and more rotation. I think the biggest issue will be overcoming the trepidation of doing this, especially with that log not having a down side! Major Points - You are getting the Lift - There is little Rotation - take off is still quite back from the log Your take off being so far back and with lower than what could be RPM, your covering the distance more than rising. From Here - Back fill the other side of the log (branches, sticks, leaves, dirt) - Shift your take off point to not more than 200mm from the log - Aim to stand/Go with your shoulders going back + up to resist the movement forward of the bike and create more rotation. (Don't try to lift here focus on letting the bike rotate) - Gradually over time build RPM This is an "exposure therapy" process. Don't rush it get comfortable with the closeness, and the RPM. If its too close you can roll back a little to start with. Once you are really comfortable (after 100s of attempts) then we can get more specific and logical about correction of any miss step in technique.
