FEEDBACK @Marsel Punch Technique I know this is something some of this in the obstacle work has been difficult, but you are making progress!! The turning you have been doing has been fantastic and here you got some lift on the punch. We are slowly working through the aspects and I think you are getting close to a break through. So there is a recurring factor here where you are reluctant to really rev the bike and you are being left behind/rotating. I believe its not being able to set up the bike geometry, and position your body in a way that your body goes with the bike. Then your brain is subconsciously cutting some of the power via the clutch or shutting off the the throttle. I really want to work on that! If we don't stationary punching will be a glass ceiling. This will also really improve your confidence in the Ride and Splat Techniques. Watch the Video for the details, then; Starting with the front wheel up on for the step (the one you are punching in this video), 1. Take body back and Pull froward and then press into the bike (No need to ride the step or even have the engine running) Do this as many times as possible to get the bike to the deepest compression you can on the forks. You can put a plastic cable tie on the fork tube as an easy gauge! 2. Complete this same action, then stand up. Really focus on the push down and stand up till your legs are straight. (There is no need to GO this could also be with engine off) 3. Add the engine on, and add in a clutch release during the stand action, but leave it nice a late so your like half way through the standing action. Later is better than too early. Don't worry about getting up the step. If it goes up fine, but that is not the goal. 4. Gradually raise the RPM over time until you are really confident This whole process should take weeks, not hours or days. Especially step 3. I really hope I have clearly explained this in the video. It is something that is more subtle and difficult to show really obviously. As you improve, the next improvement, gets smaller and more subtle. Let me know how you go!
