For those interested in such things, I listened to an interesting podcast by Huberman Lab, How to learn skills faster" Andrew Huberman is a professor of neurobiology at Stanford School of Medicine. Some interesting insights into the neurobiology in play that sits nicely with a lot of the psychology of skills acquisition. With some quite clear guidance how to align practice with the neuro science. I really liked the concept of 5- 10 minutes of doing NOTHING immediately after practice. My wife would probably say that's what I always do πŸ˜† Also a nice focus on maximising mistakes - something I'm also not bad at! He has another one on How to increase motivation & drive that seemed relevant too. Podcast or YouTube.
