Major points - Tension is maintained The whole time the bike is connected to you and does not move separately to you! - Taller riders will need to bend their elbows a little more You don't need to worry about being too straight with your arms as you are so tall, you are going to need to bend you arms a little more than most. But even with them bent, your holding the bike firmly.
