I finally got my Beta resprung for my weight and did the suspension service. I haven't had a chance to really ride it yet, apart from doing front hops and getting on/off a low step. but generally it feels more solid, and stable (hops/drops) I just have a feeling I would need a bit more damping, especially rebound in the back (it's pretty bouncy). Any suggestions, how does it look too you guys?- it's the last part of the video from 50s on. I went back to ground practice and just tried to get the pattern of reving the bike right after I've pulled in the clutch fully. This was importat because I kept overshooting my target with higher rpms then I realised I added rpms while my clutch was still a bit engaged. After I tried adding front brake too, but I really had problems keeping throttle on and front brake applied. My coordination was horrible and I just did like 50 wheelies while holding the front brake to kind of get used to the feeling of throttle modulation while staying on the front brake. Next thing was to understand that after my suspension compreses I have to release both levers (clutch&brake) at the same time for the second go and lift to happen. My brain got overloaded with info from time to time and just forgot to release one or the other π€¦ββοΈ. Looking at the video timing is very off, I think I should wait with the second pop of the clutch even longer but it was just too much things to think about all at once. I see a looot of this kind of ground work ahead π Any other suggestions? #askneil #suspension #punch
