FEEDBACK for @treesner Sorry Chris, I had this edited a few days ago and was sitting on my desktop waiting to be posted! 🤦 Just a little feedback. Your technique is getting really good! Like really good! Honestly you should be really happy with it! I know you were worried about your balance recovery etc, but i think that you are further long than you realise. Hopping and balancing in it is very hard! Some Points to consider Front Wheel Hops - Too Fast Slow your action down. At the moment you are working against the Dampers - Focus on the movement of your torso It looks like there is more effort in your arms and legs than in getting your torso moving. Shift your focus to accelerating your torso backwards, then holding the tension to the peak of the lift. - Single hops, not multiple When practicing, work on single hops rather than multiple. It stops the "regression" of becoming reliant on movement. It won't seem that relevant on flat open space, but in amongst a section, it will really matter in the future!! Rear Wheel Hops - Extend body a little more over the bars. By this I mean only by a little bit. Just a smidge more to keep that weight on the front and keep it planted and the rear light. This will help when you transfer it to sections, but if you go too far it will be hard to push the bars forward. - Scoop toes under the pegs It can help you if you hook your toes under the pegs. (massive benefit of trials boots over MX) - Try to remain observant of when the best ones happen and how they feel!
