@benboycott FEEDBACK on RSG in the Slip!! Ok so i know Ben you didn't use the hashtag #askneil, but i wanted to respond to this as its not often i see this with RSG, and it was a good opportunity to highlight when timing is out, and how we can get far more force down onto the rear tyre and in turn more grip!! (assuming there is something there 🤣) Your turning/fig of 8s are exceptional, just like @Scott Fields efforts! Major points - Clutch release is too late in relation to your standing action. Your stand is near the top when there is less force down on the rear wheel - There is no pull in your arms until after the clutch release. This reduces any leverage and distributes the force onto both tyres and not just the rear, so the rear has less down force than it could have from both weight and leverage. From here... I think the plan of attack is to first focus on a deliberate pull on the bars firstly. Then at a later point focus on the timing of the clutch. I have had this happen in the past and getting the rider to pull on the bars fixed both "clutch and arm pull" in the one exercise. Its like the brain connects the pull up with the acceleration. This may not happen for you Ben, but that is my suggestion to find a starting point. Let me know how it goes and if you need clarification or if you want to jump on a call and work out a better plan of attack. #rsg #RSGinslip #slipperyrsg #rsginmud #leverage #stand #standing #slippery #mud #lift #pull #clutchtiming
