Ride & Splats - Take 2. I don't want @Neil Price to get bored and start annoying Jess, so I thought I'd upload another video for feedback. I went back to Andrews last Friday with the previous feedback in mind to practice riding and splatting the loading ramp log again. I concentrated on trying not to squat too deep or too far forward. It is a difficult habit to break! I managed to keep my upper body further back so my head wasn't over the bars compared to last time, but I think I'm still going too deep. Even though my squat needs improvement I could see the difference it made to the compression over the rear. The gap between the rear fender and tyre definitely closed more. Side note - I put the bike on the stand the yesterday and did the squats with my hands on my head again, so I think I now know what I need to do. I believe I held the revs higher on the approach this time, however I still twisted the throttle most times before releasing the clutch for the 'Go' (I deleted the worst ones). Whilst the revs built with confidence the longer I practiced, I still think I need to build the revs higher on the approach to get more lift; or are the revs high enough for this obstacle, but I'm not getting as much lift due to the poor timing of the clutch release and my rise from the squat? #askneil I saved this one in 4K to improve the resolution & help with analysis. I uploaded to YouTube. https://youtu.be/-9EvGF8Nxcw
