#askneil Hi Neil, I was practicing at the prestigious @Andrew von Berky Trials Training Facility on Friday π and filmed myself using the Rev Squat Go technique to get up and over a large log. The first 37 seconds is without a kicker. The remaining is using a kicker to do splats for the first time. A few things I picked up on by rewatching the videos are: 1. On occasion I am preloading the suspension by squatting forcefully, and other times I feel I hold the squat a bit too long (more like when practicing RSG on flat ground). 2. It's hard for me to tell, but I also think I may be releasing the clutch too soon in my rise from the squat at times. 3. On the ones without the kicker, I think sometimes I am too far away from the log when releasing the clutch which results in the front wheel hitting the log too high up, which then results in less compression and traction (note the wheel spin). Any feedback would be appreciated.
